Looking for a job this summer?
We can help!
If you're between the ages of 15 and 18 then check to see if our Jobs for Youth Program is available in your community.
We know that not everyone has the same opportunities to get a job or the help they need. The Jobs for Youth Program helps teens get valuable summer work experience, including those who live in neighbourhoods that might not have as many services as other places.
The program is available in 19 communities around Ontario for teens who need help getting a summer job. You will receive job training, an employment placement from July to August, and support after your job finishes. You will be paid during your training and job placement.
This is a great opportunity to:
- Earn some extra cash over the summer
- Build your resume
- Explore your interests for college, university or apprenticeship and future career
- Learn more about yourself and gain new skills
- Meet new friends and contacts
